A 21st Century easy chair inspired by 19th Century Morris chairs and early 20th Century Stickley chairs, with characteristic wide, thick wooden arms and box joinery. Every detail of Kitsilano is sustainable; Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified lumber (inside and out), non toxic and low or no VOC glues, stains and finishes, 100% natural latex padding and 100% natural wool padding, fully fire retardant without man made chemicals, and covered in 100% recycled (and recyclable) polyester fabric (UAs McQueen, Graphite) chosen from Upholstery Arts “No New Crude Oil” textile selection.
