Recognizing the importance of safe water in our daily lives and to the billions of people who are still without access to this basic human right, LifeStraw was developed as a practical response the UN’s Millennium Development Goal of reducing by half the proportion of people without sustainable access to safe drinking water by the year 2015. LifeStraw Family is a point-of-use instant microbiological purifier that allows people to create drinking water to US EPA standards in the home. These compatible products are designed to address the needs of the more than 1.1 billion people who lack access to safe and clean drinking water.
