HUSQUE

Marc Harrison - Husque Pty Ltd.
Queensland, Australia

Husque is a unique concept and material that encapsulates the enigma of the native Australian Macadamia Nut and the spirit of sustainability. Husque takes low valued waste shell from the Macadamia Nut industry mills it into a fine particle, bonds it with polymer to create hand made long lasting beautiful objects. By value adding to a waste material Husque creates objects that have a unique connection to the DNA of Australia.

Genus Macadamia was named in 1857 in Australia where it only grew on a small section of Eastern Coastline. It is a true native to the continent and Australia still grows 56% of the worlds supply.
