Pioneering composites for modern skateboards since 1998, Comet is now offering the first Cradle to Cradle skateboard, built with the patented e2e Materials cross-linking soy protein resin, hemp and flax fiber, bamboo and maple. All coatings are super low VOC and water/plant based. Comet offers a full line of street, pool, long boards, and speed boards. All Comet boards are pressed one at a time on both coasts of the USA – Ithaca, NY and Northern California. Comet obtains their materials from the closest possible source to lessen the embodied energy in a product. Comet supports their local West Oakland inner city community through their involvement with the Hood Games - block parties focused on youth expression through skateboarding, art, music, fashion, and dance. Comet also supports a number of "outlaw" downhill skateboarding sessions all over the world. Comet's goal is to build universal awareness, positive action and lots of great sessions.
